Welcome to the event schedule and directory for the 13th Annual Salt Lake County Watershed Symposium, November 20-21, 2019. Free and open to all, the Symposium encourages a comprehensive review of the current state of our watershed while creating learning and networking opportunities for a broad array of stakeholders. Sessions cover a broad range of topics on water quality and watershed issues with local, regional, and national relevance. Hosted by Salt Lake County Watershed Planning & Restoration.

Kate Kohut is an ecologist and avid birder currently working as a Naturalist at Tracy Aviary. She got her B.S in wildlife conservation biology from the University of Rhode Island, and worked for Audubon New York after college as an environmental educator and outreach science communicator. Kate moved to Utah a year ago from New York, and is excited to be working with Tracy Aviary to help get the upcoming Jordan River Nature Center off the ground. Kate loves sharing her passion for ecology with others, and spends much of her time birding with her fiancé and friends.
